We are excited to announce that USD 382 is accepting nominations.   All nominations from previous years that were not selected will be reconsidered along with any new nominations.  The Pratt Greenback HOF Class will be inducted next fall in late September.  The Greenback Hall of Fame recognizes and honors individuals, alumni, and contributors who have made a significant contribution to the Greenback traditions of GRIT, TEAM, VALOR, RESPECT and PASSION. Individuals recognized will have exemplified the character, ideals, outstanding skills and commitment of excellence promoted by USD 382.  The Hall of Fame is an opportunity to honor our past and to give our youth a motivating influence for the future.  The Greenback Hall of Fame is not just about an individual's success in high school, but more importantly what has been their positive contributions since high school, not just to Pratt but the world in which we live.

 

Greenbacks have the opportunity to nominate individuals in three different categories.

 

Alumni  - The nominee must have exemplified, during and following his/her career, outstanding skills, character and a commitment of excellence.  Alumni can be nominated 20 years after their graduation date. The alumni’s professional and personal life after high school will be a vital part of the consideration.

 

Educator  - The nominee must have exemplified, during and following his/her career, role model characteristics as an educator/school employee.  The nominee must have worked at USD 382 for at least ten years and been out of employment at USD 382 for at least five years.

 

Contributor  - The nominee must have achieved a high level of achievement in at least one of the following. Nominations may be made 20 years after the person’s high school graduation. This person does not have to be an alumnus of USD 382.

  • Professional/Personal Life
  • Community Service/Support of PHS
  • Demonstrate education to be a lifelong experience
 
Selections for the Greenback Hall of Fame will be carried out by the seven member HOF Board.  The Board includes two Alumni Community members - Joe Reynolds and Chase Galle, retired USD educator Susan Pixler, USD 382 Board Member Donna Queal, Student Council President, PHS Principal Steve Blankenship and PHS Activities Director (HOF chair) David Swank. We need your help in nominating deserving individuals. There are two ways to nominate individuals:
  • Nominate through online form, including essay and follow-up with any supporting information.  Online Hall of Fame Nomination
  • Nominate through a written form and mail or e-mail your essay and any supporting information to Pratt High School.  Please use the attached form.  Hall of Fame Nomination
The first class will be announced early this summer and HOF induction will take place in late September. Now our HOF Selection Board needs your help.  Please consider nominating a deserving Greenback before the May 1 deadline for nominations.
