The “Old High School Building” is undergoing a transformation! This August 2024, it will reopen its doors as the Pratt Academic Center (PAC), a brand new home for our 4th and 5th graders.

Pratt Academic Center will provide opportunities for students to develop initiative, self-ownership, and strong relationships with each other to establish the foundation for rigor and relevance in learning to promote big opportunities for future success.
What's New at PAC?
A dedicated learning environment designed for intermediate students, fostering academic success and personal growth. PAC will provide a strong Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) to ensure all students receive the academic and social-emotional help they need to thrive. Equipping students with the skills to become well-rounded individuals is a priority at PAC. Students will learn valuable life skills alongside their core academics. The PAC is led by a team of passionate educators who are committed to providing a nurturing and supportive environment for all students. A new cafeteria has been added for students to enjoy meals on-site. The new District Office will also be located within the building. The legendary Frog Dome has been fully renovated and will continue to be the school’s gymnasium available to our students and community.
Even More for the Community! Located next to PAC Building on the west side will be a brand new daycare facility opening its doors in the near future to serve children ages 0-3. This is a fantastic addition for families in the area. We're thrilled to embark on this new chapter with the PAC!
Beyond the Bell (BTB) at Southwest Elementary School
Beyond the Bell will continue to offer students grade-level group homework help, enrichment activities and arts and crafts. These activities will take place at Southwest Elementary School from 3:30-5:30 pm, Monday – Friday. Students enrolled in BTB will be transported from the PAC building to the SW School building.
