Bridges to Learning
Preschool
Bridges to Learning (BTL) is a specially designed preschool program open to any Pratt County Preschooler 3-5 years old. We have a limited number of peer model openings in each of our two classrooms. The other positions are reserved for children who qualify for a specially designed program.
Our developmental preschool program focuses on pre-academic and readiness skills, speech/language, social/emotional development, fine motor activities, hands writing, and gross motor activities. We also assist students with self-help skills and behavior intervention. We use the same curriculum as all the other preschool programs that lead into the curriculum used in Kindergarten.
We offer low student-teacher ratios to help each child with any need they may have in the classroom. In these classrooms, we can offer group activities to encourage appropriate social interactions, turn-taking, readiness, and language skills. Independent work targets your child's needs at his/her developmental age level to avoid frustration and encourage progress.
All students wanting to attend BTL must attend a Preschool Screening. Please contact the BTL staff to set up a screening date or for more information. ACE Building 672-4500.
