Members of the Southwest Parent Teacher Organization work hard to offer students extra benefits. To that end, PTO holds the annual Southwest Carnival, an evening of games and activities for the whole family designed to provide funding for field trips, library books, a Ken-a-vision microscope and TV, and quality playground equipment.
